When 2pm rolled around oh say 20 minutes ago. I had finally finished visiting my daily reads and wanted to sit down and do a bit of blogging myself. Instead I found myself standing, angry, in front of my kitchen counter mixing salt, pepper, and other spices into hamburger meat so I could fix the hubby something to eat.

Bug walks in and proceeds to tell me that my hands were nasty. I reply quietly and he walked off to either play the latest round of bumper cars with his trucks and cars, or rip the heads off of his sister’s barbies. All this time I’m standing there mixing meat, forming patties and warming the skillet, the girls cries, echoing in the background, I’m getting more and more angry.

And to think.. I’m Southern.. They keep telling me something isnt right about me..

After reading article after article over the years about ‘activists’ bombing places, protesting, ect. I’ve got one question. And what? And what have they accomplished?

Lets take for instance an article on cnn.com about Eric Robert Rudolph who confessed to bombing an abortion clinic, a gay and lesbian nightclub, and the 1996 Olympics. Who knows deep down WHY he did what he did. But what did he accomplish? Death?

Most of the time something is done like this they scream, “In the name of god”. Let me ask you, and what? If they are doing it in the name of God, they believe abortion is wrong, its murder, ect. Correct? Okay then what in the heck have they done when they have bombed clinics, ect. They have killed people. What is the difference? What makes them better? What gives them that right? They do it in the name of god right? So how are they any better or doing god’s will if they are doing the very same thing they are accusing others of doing? What gives them the right or the justification? It’s okay BECAUSE it’s god’s will?????

I’ve been sleeping off and on for days now.. To exhausted to move much. The kids have been running a mile a minute though. Its been a hell of a week thats for sure. I went to walmart yesterday for the things we had to have.. And it took me 3 hours there because of my back. I kept having ot find a place to sit down for a minute. Thankful that our walmart has little benches every so often. I could have pulled a lounge chair out in garden center and made myself comfy but I didnt think they would like that much. I could always tell them I was trying before I buy..

Onto recent news…. Seems Old TomKat has made an ass out of himself again on the Today show..

I’m not feeling better! I woke up with sore throat, headache, watery & Itchy eyes, sneezing.. GRR! Summer colds are so much worse than winter colds(IMO Anyway)… I’m still so tired. I went to bed last night and slept from 8 last night until 11am today. I was so out of it last night that I didn’t even hear hubby come home. And I took a nap today and am still exhausted. Seems i’m playing catch up.. But I hate this because I cant seem to get anything done.

I had a good bit to say today. But.. I finally went to the dr for my back. I havent slept in a long while. And i am so tired I cant see straight. LITERALLY.. They put me back on wellbutrin and gave me celebrex for my back.. I just want to sleep. So sleepy. Hopefully tom I will be able to say what I want to say..

It is my ever so humble opinion that South East Texas SUCKS! Yes there is no better word for it! IT SUCKS IT SUCKS IT SUCKS IT SUCKS!
Its hot (we hit 100 yesterday), Its Humid(Every day 100% humidity), And Its driving both my Asthma and my allergies (Which i didnt have before having kids) CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My head feels like its going to explode, my eyes are itchy and watery, my nose wants to run(yes everyone make a joke now), and the pressure is driving me insane. And you can probably tell I’m already a lil bitchy VERY bitchy Today. And another thing that sucks. You know at some point we will be hit by either a tropical storm or a hurricane this year. Its just a matter of time. YES It is my opinion that south east texas sucks!

I dyed my hair red last night. I’ve had it this color before. But its been a few years. My dear hubby was nice enough to tell me how much he hated it. And then my son jumped on the bandwagon to tell me,”Mommy, I dont like your hair” Thats okay though. It was easier coming from dh though because frankly if I cared what he had thought about my hair I would have ran it by him before doing it. He is lucky it ended up red and not blue. Now the real test will be when I go to my moms house. She NEVER likes what I do to my hair but thats okay though b/c she understands that its who I am. I often do messed up things to my hair and she never really knows what I will show up looking like. Last time My hair was down to my belt loops and I decided to cut it all off in the middle of the night because I was tired of looking at it. And I cut it off up to my shoulders and then had to go have a salon fix what I messed up..

On another note. I was walking by my 2 year old yesterday and kinda messed her hair up playing with her. She started giggling and said “Butthead” and went about playing. Now all those parents who are better parents than I am might not find it amusing in the least. But the way she was giggling and the way she still doesnt pronounce things exactly right made it really funny!
