How to make the mixed drinks you love!

Bahama Mama #2——————————————————————————–

Ingredients:
1/2 oz Lemon juice
2 oz Orange juice
2 oz Pineapple juice
1 1/2 oz Rum
1 oz Coconut rum
1/2 oz Cherry Heering
1/2 oz Grenadine
Mixing instructions:
Shake with cracked ice. Serve in a 12 oz. glass. Garnish with a cherry and 1/2 slice orange in a tooth pick.

Sex Appeal

Ingredients:
1/2 oz White rum
1/2 oz Coconut rum
1/2 oz Melon liqueur
1/2 oz Peach schnapps
1/2 oz Blue Curacao
Fill With Sour mix
Add Splash Lemonade
Garnish Lemon
Mixing instructions:
Mix two rums, melon, peach and blue curacao in a mixing tin with the sour mix. Pour into a collins glass with ice and add a dash of lemonade. Garnish with lemon squeeze.

1. What did you do for your last birthday? If your birthday is coming up soon, what are your plans? I didnt do anything for my last birthday. I’ve got a husband who tends to forget birthdays. I do have a birthday coming up next month and my plans are.. I have no plans..LOL My sister said we’d go eat as her birthday is a week before mine..

2. What TV show do you absolutely HAVE to watch each week? I dont watch tv much..

3. What was your favorite vacation? taking the kids to sea world. They were only 3 and 1 1/2 but they still remember it and they are 6 and 5 now. They had a blast. I was miserably pregnant with lil bit but it was so cool watching them get so excited.

4. Are you doing any post-holiday sale shopping this week? NO!! I’m hibernating in my house..

The downtime after holidays are always so exhausting. Its not exactly down time. Its the house is wrecked, I feel the need to strongly declutter, i’m too tired to chat it up with friends or family no matter how much I want to. The holiday down time is just exhausting. One thing though. I’m so thankful for my dad.

I’ve got the best dad in the world.

My computer crashed awhile back. Its been a good while back. While I know he didnt want to he knew that I couldnt stay offline long and he knew I didnt have the money to play “guess whats wrong” with my computer trying to fix it. So he let me use his laptop. He REALLY didnt want to. I can’t stress enough what it took for him to let me use his laptop. Anyhow. The laptop while its a wonderful back up was extremely slow, has no hard drive space and very little memory in it for the programs I wanted to run. i had it for alot longer than we had originally planned on me having it.

He decided to buy him another one. He had been tlaking about it for a few years but he went ahead and bought him another one. That broke my worrying about returning his to him. Well then he says he will sell it to me. I said okay just please give me until mid Jan to pay for it. He said fine. Then he went and upgraded his computer. He had also talked about doing that for awhile but hadnt planned on it anytime soon that I knew of anyhow. I heard through the grapevine that he did it because he knew I didnt have the money to fix my pc. So what he did was upgrade his and give me all his parts that was in his computer. So basically I’ve got my dads pc in my case. He spent a ton of money in a matter of 2 weeks all for me. Its not about the money.Its about he did it for me.

Well then he tells me that He can’t ask me to pay for the laptop. He feels bad. I dont understand why of course. Well he says its because the laptop needs new memory and a new hard drive. I had planned to buy those things and we’d call it even. He calls me Christmas eve asking me the specs on the laptop. I told him Christmas morning and he calls me Christmas night after I had already left his house and tells me he ordered a new hard drive for it and new memory for it.. WOO HOO! It’s my birthday present. (My bday coming Jan 31st..)

See anytime anything has gone wrong with my pc. My dad has been there to bail me out when I cant fix it myself. He has taught me so much in such a short time. Whats funny though. Is that when he first started out with a pc. I remember going to best buy with him to look at pcs and buy one. When he first bought it. he couldnt type worth a shit and he hen pecked the key board. I showed him alot of things and now he is teaching me things. I think at this point we teach each other. I still find there is a ton of things he knows that I dont and there are some things I know that he doesnt.

He has always been my hero. Even at the lowest times in our relationship and there have been some really bad times. I’ve always known I could turn to my dad. I try to be honest with him about everything but of course there are things every daughter doesnt tell her parents. My dad has been there. I know he thinks at some points I hated him. And for awhile I tried to convince myself that I did. But I co uldnt turn away from him. Even when my parents split and got back together and split again and got back together. I never hated him no matter what the circumstances were. We’ve just had our ups and downs like any family.

I really have the best dad..

ITS OVER! I am jumping for joy! Well almost!

See the great thing about Christmas is that its over before you know it. I just thought that the trouble with Christmas was the shopping, cooking, preparing for everything, ect. Thats not it at all. Thats not where the trouble comes in. Its when you get home from visiting everywhere you need to visit and stop and think,”Where the hell am I going to put everything?”

Now This seems to be a pattern every Christmas. Christmas night and the day after are filled with dread of where to put all this junk. But dont you dare cal it junk around the kids. They will set you straight REAL fast!

This Christmas was really great. The best we’ve had in a long long time. No fights, no arguements, nothing. A really n ice Christmas. The kids had a blast. Now they are fighting over playing with each others toys but they will soon enough get over that. I’ll share some pics..

All in all a good day.

My mom got me a towel set. My dad got me a bread maker which Thrilled me.. Mainly because guess what! HE went and picked it out himself!!!! And i got a digital camera.. The kids got enough stuff to drive me insane..Bug got stuff for his bday and christmas.. So he should be set for awhile..Diva got a few new outfits and a doll, a barbie, and a bunch of lip gloss and stuff. Sugar mama got a TON of dolls.. that kid has more dolls than any child should have..
they had so much fun but i’m so glad its over and the recovery process can begin..LOL I’m looking forward to new years eve! I’m going to relax.. lol.. Hope christmas was good to you all!

But pumpkin bread is what dh’s family lives for on Christmas and i’m the only one who can make it.. I’m a damn fine cook if i say so myself.. Its not a hard thing to make.. Very easy..

Edited to add.. Its now 3:20am and I’ve finished the pumpkin bread and gotten my apple pies into the oven. All that is left is my cheeseball.. OH and i’ve now gotten flour and sugar in my hair an dmy shirt is wearing pumpkin.. Oye i’m a mess when I cook..

Its now 4:40 and I’m FINISHED!! I need a bath! I totally smell like pumpkin and apple pie.. My pies are cooling, dishwasher loaded, laundry drying, bread wrapped and ready to go, Cheese ball is in the fridge.. Its time for bed!

One more day!

Say it slowly.. Maybe it will extend my time that I have left. ONE MORE DAY..

I’ve got one more day to get my Christmas shopping done and ready to go. I’ve still got to buy “Santa” presents. And something for Dh.. I’m DREADING going to the store.

I need for dh to watch the munchkins so i can go finish my shopping. My mum refuses to let me go ot the store by myself. I’m 25 years old almost 26(end of Jan) yet she still doesnt want me shopping alone around christmas. Because thats when the crazy people come out. I can’t argue with that though. People have gone mad.

Christmas creeps up and they turn into these ugly snarling beasts who’s vocabulary is limited to : mine, move, get, f*ck you, and other 4 letter words. The gas pumps stay crowded, grocery store aisles are empty, ect. These people KNEW Christmas was coming. YET the stores still only half ass stock the shelves. WHAT GIVES??

I hate people who wait to the last minute to do their shopping. BUT I am one of those people. Not because I want to be b ut because thats always how it falls on me. There is always that one paycheck i’m waiting on.

I remember my kids first Christmas. Diva’s first Christmas she spent in the emergancy room with 105.5 fever. They sucked out her nose and sent her home. The ER DR was a jerk. Then, a few hours later She was worse and I called her ped’s office hwo met me at the ER again. So they admitted her. We spent a week in the hospital they never did find what was wrong with her. I’ll never forget that because we were even quaranteened. It was weird to say the least.

Diva’s second Christmas I almost spent in the hospital. I was due with Bug. Luckily we made it through that Christmas with out a hospital trip and bug made his appearance 2 days later. Now here we are.. And Diva is 6 1/2, Bug is going to be 5 next tuesday and lil bit is 3.

They can’t wait for Christmas. Santa is coming ya know! I told them they had to clean their room or Santa wouldnt come.. MEAN I KNOW! It took them 3 days to get it even to wher ei c ould walk in there. I’ll finish it tom.

I’ve still got to decide what I want to bake for Christmas..

on a side note. You should hear lil bit sing jingle bells. I wish I could let you guys hear it. Its the cutest thing! sounds just like she is saying Big Ho’tels Big Ho’tels Big Ho’tels.. its just the cutest thing..

I drink maybe 2 times a year.. new years eve benig one of them. DH came home with a bottle of coconut rum for me.. its my “flavor” lol.. He is getting me prepared..

Is it that time yet? I haven’t finished my coffee yet much less fully recovered emmotionally from my morning run in with dh yet. I pop on the tv and what comes belting through the speakers? Laurie Berkner’s This is me and my energy. While she is jumping around all over the screen i’m ready to throw my coffee cup at her. Needless to say, I’m far from a morning person. It may actually be better if I do hibernate.

UPS finally arrived yesterday with my packages. I was pleased. The driver seemed taken back that I saw him throw a package earlier that day. He seemed shaken that I had seen him leave earlier. Ahh well, don’t throw packages and there wont be a problem. I certainly hope, that whoever that package belonged to received it with out it being broken.

I just checked the weather and what did I happen to find.. Its going to be near 70 on Christmas. This is really ridiculous.

Today is Diva’s last day of school until Jan. She is thrilled. We got her teacher a cute lil box and I put designer cocoa in it for her teacher. I think she will like it. I hope she will..
My MIL is going to Diva’s Christmas party at school today because I can’t go. I’m far from thrilled about this as I do not want her up there.
