One more day!

Say it slowly.. Maybe it will extend my time that I have left. ONE MORE DAY..

I’ve got one more day to get my Christmas shopping done and ready to go. I’ve still got to buy “Santa” presents. And something for Dh.. I’m DREADING going to the store.

I need for dh to watch the munchkins so i can go finish my shopping. My mum refuses to let me go ot the store by myself. I’m 25 years old almost 26(end of Jan) yet she still doesnt want me shopping alone around christmas. Because thats when the crazy people come out. I can’t argue with that though. People have gone mad.

Christmas creeps up and they turn into these ugly snarling beasts who’s vocabulary is limited to : mine, move, get, f*ck you, and other 4 letter words. The gas pumps stay crowded, grocery store aisles are empty, ect. These people KNEW Christmas was coming. YET the stores still only half ass stock the shelves. WHAT GIVES??

I hate people who wait to the last minute to do their shopping. BUT I am one of those people. Not because I want to be b ut because thats always how it falls on me. There is always that one paycheck i’m waiting on.

I remember my kids first Christmas. Diva’s first Christmas she spent in the emergancy room with 105.5 fever. They sucked out her nose and sent her home. The ER DR was a jerk. Then, a few hours later She was worse and I called her ped’s office hwo met me at the ER again. So they admitted her. We spent a week in the hospital they never did find what was wrong with her. I’ll never forget that because we were even quaranteened. It was weird to say the least.

Diva’s second Christmas I almost spent in the hospital. I was due with Bug. Luckily we made it through that Christmas with out a hospital trip and bug made his appearance 2 days later. Now here we are.. And Diva is 6 1/2, Bug is going to be 5 next tuesday and lil bit is 3.

They can’t wait for Christmas. Santa is coming ya know! I told them they had to clean their room or Santa wouldnt come.. MEAN I KNOW! It took them 3 days to get it even to wher ei c ould walk in there. I’ll finish it tom.

I’ve still got to decide what I want to bake for Christmas..

on a side note. You should hear lil bit sing jingle bells. I wish I could let you guys hear it. Its the cutest thing! sounds just like she is saying Big Ho’tels Big Ho’tels Big Ho’tels.. its just the cutest thing..

Do you ever sit down with all intentions of actually having something GOOD to say and then when you sit down your mind tends to flop and the fire burns out and all thats left is sizzling ashes? Tis what happens to me ALOT!!!!

Tomorrow is Friendly Friday. Yahoo. That is always fun but I don’t know if the band will show up because people are so busy right now. Visit my blog tomorrow to see what I am talking about.
I am looking foward to a day off tomorrow. I am going to get some stuff from my urgent file done hopefully. (I procrastinate this file awfully)
Then I want to sleep in, first.

greetings and Merry Christmas from Michele.

I thought i had all of my holiday shopping done until today. my ex husbands neice called me up today and asked if i wouldnt mind visiting her home on christmas eve. they bought Indiana all manner of gifts and were hoping we would bring him there to open them. Now i am a firm believer in if someone wants to give my kid something, its less i have to pay for. so, yep we are going. now i have to go out tomorrow and buy something for them, because i dont want to go empty handed. dang it.

i am looking forward to Indy;s first christmas and soon to follow my first aniversey with my new husband and then indianas first birthday. and im just looking forward to a wonderufl new year. i hoep you are too!

I thought I was ahead on my shopping then the damn NYC transit workers went on strike. It now takes me 3 hours to get to work instead of 15 minutes, so all my Xmas shopping time has been sucked up!!! I’ll be out in the stores tomorrow. JOY!!
Season’s Greetings from Michele.

Hey Girl!

I still have to get stocking stuffers - but finished buying the main gifts last night.

I find myself drinking more and more - every night. I use to drink twice maybe three times a year and one them was not New Year’s.

My favorite drink is Grey Goose Vodka and Kendall Jackson - Chardonnay - but after several drinks….all become my favorite.

I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a “Spirited” New Year!

Cheers,
Marti

Merry Christmas Ivy!! Hope you and the family have a great holiday and stay safe on New Years!

Three things I’m looking foward to in the New Year. Well, 1, it’s an even numbered year, all even numbers. That has to be good. I don’t like odd numbers. 2, I’m getting married. That’ll be interesting. 3. Taxes. Hopefully I get a nice return this year! Get some bills paid off :) hehe!!
