its been so busy

Thursday I got a new car! I havent had a ride since the hurricane. Ive had to use my inlaws hunk of junk to get around. So dh finally went and got me a new car! We were able to do so because we got our income tax back on Wed. And i’m sad to say.. Our return is officially gone.. most went towards the downpayment on the car.. The rest towards land taxes.. Tis rather annoying! I’m sad to see it go but so glad to get a new car!
I needed something that would seat 6. That wasnt a huge gas sucker and wouldnt be really expensive insurance wise.. I got a mazda 5.. The insurance is really cheap on it! My car note plus my insurace is cheaper than what our last truck note was.. Just the note! So its rather nice to have something affordable.. Here is a pic from the mazda website..

It rides really well .. I love the room inside.. The kids have lots of room
This weekend has been realy gross outside.. WET and cold.. Today we never got above 34 degrees.. Thats REALLY REALLY REALLY cold for here.. And we had sleet tonight.. UGH.. of course it waited until i had to go to the grocery store..
well thats all my excitement for the past week.. I have my first OB appt tom(monday).. I’m SOOOOOOOOOOOO nervous!

Maybe the youngin is acting out because now she thinks she will not be loved as much with another baby on the way. It is very hard on the little ones knowing that they are not “the baby” any more. A few one on one talks with her with loads of reassurance might help. Good Luck!!
Good deal on the car! We’ve had Mazda Protege’s (two of them, one after the other) for work commute cars for me. I’ve found them to be well-engineered, stingy on fuel, and long lived. My current one has 155,000 miles and is going strong. I hope your experiences are as good!
