can it get
Posted by ivy | Under Ivy Unleashed Monday May 29, 2006Any hotter or more Humid in SE Texas? Pretty silly question huH! Because the answer is really easy!! YES IT CAN!!!! AND IT WILL!!! ugh! Yesterday was miserable.. I went to the store and the air was so thick and nasty.. FELT gross.. The second i got home I changed my clothes because i was sweating from the heat and humidity and we are no where NEAR what we will be..
On another note.. I watched Autumn in New York.. I had never seen it before. It seems to me.. A lot like Sweet November.. Imagine that! Just different actors..
One other thing I have to ask myself.. CAN THIS KIDDO PLEASE GET OUT OF MY RIBS????????? Sitting is becoming difficult.. There should be abarrier there to keep this kid out of that most uncomfortable place.. Comfy for him..Not for me!
We could do with a little warmth here in England.
Michele sent me this way.
Ivy, I can really sympathize! One of my children was born in July, and I had an awful time of it that year in May and June, with the heat and humidity. I just didn’t leave my house/air conditioning if I didn’t absolutely have to. I hope your baby will be born soon.
Michele sent me.
I really feel for you Ivy….I have been in Rexas a few times over the years and couldn’t get over the heat & humidity and it was not the heat of summer yet…so, I hope you are able to get some relief when you are in the house. Habg in there Ivy….
Oh boy, do I ever remember those last few months of pregnancy. I hope the heat & humidity doesn’t get too bad for you.
ya it was really hot & humid here too!!! at least today we are getting the rain and it’s cooled down.
Yep, that is exactly why I chose not to return to Texas:)
Poor baby! I had to delurk today to say WOW, I love what you’ve done with the place
and
give you a nice big hug.
I used to live near Houston (Tomball) and I do remember the heat and I was pregnant with both my sons there!
I saw the original Sweet November back in the 60s with Sandy Dennis in the lead.
Put ya feet up!
It is muggy here… I could ring out my couches!
Michele sent me AGAIN! What’s up with that?
I stayed in Texas for about half a year once. September through April and that was hot enough for me. I can’t imagine doing it for the Summer months, Ivy. And preggers to boot! It must be Hell.
