Why didnt I make atleast one post last week? I missed Thursday 13.. Thats because a lil issued called,”Hubby gave me the fright of my life”.. Wed morning at about 6:27am (yeah thats what time the call was logged and im not likely to forget it anytime soon).. Hubby calls and says,”Ivy, I’ve been in a bad accident” I said,”are you okay?” He said,”No call 911″ and the phone went dead.. I called the sheriffs dept emergency line.. Its where ALL our 911 calls are routed anyway.. Gave the reason i was calling and was PUT ON HOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyhow gave the dispatcher the info I knew which wasnt much. Just a general location of where he was and what he said.. And waited for a dps officer to call me back with information.. 35 min and no one calls.. finally the phone rings and its Dh’s cousin.. They work together and he was with dh.. he said they were taking him by ambulance to the ER.. I found a sitter and left immediately.. As I walked in they said,”we just called your house to let you know your husband was here” i said well im not there am I..
Anyhow.. Long story s hort.. after hours of sitting in the ER.. waiting and waiting and waiting.. Hubby is okay.. Spraigned his back and neck.. but okay.. the truck.. the damage is more than its worth..
Here is what happened..
it was dark out..
18 wheeler blew dh off the road.. Into a car parked on the shoulder of the road.. He never saw the car.. When the 18 wheeler blew him off the road he tried to keep from going “off” the road and losing control.. he never saw the car on teh shoulder (which is illegal to have there!). He heard a boom while trying to regain control and started spinning.. Next thing he knows he wakes up in a fence.. He thought the 18 wheeler hit him.. He never saw the car.. It wasnt until the DPS officer told him he hit a parked car that he even knew there was another car involved.. He really fully believed the 18 wheeler hit him. The dps officer told him the boom he heard was either 1. him hitting the car or 2. his tire blowing upon impact.. Anyhow.. We only had liability insurance on the truck.. So.. The guys fence he went through will be fixed.. But not dh’s truck.. We cant afford the damages.. they cost more than we bought the truck for!
Update on Wyatt..
He had 4 month shots today.. he now weighs 12lbs and 9oz.. he is a happy healthy lil boy!..
Diva.. is doing really well in school.. her attitude is starting to get better.. she has been a big help with wyatt..
Sugar.. JEALOUS thats the main word i can come up with right now..
Bug… Not so well in school.. behavior sporatic.. He is so much like his daddy its unreal.. Only he has my sarcasm and we butt heads alot because of it..
me.. lets see.. Exhausted.. but doing okay.. birthday coming up soon.. scary!

1…. Our winters suck.. Winter? What winter? What we have is COLD FRONTS.. We dont have winter..
2…. During december and January.. You can wear shorts one day and jeans, long sleeves, and a parka the next..
3…. People here pull out the HUGE jackets when the temps hit 50 outside.. You see people in hats, gloves, and big jackets everywhere..
4…. 90 degrees is nice weather.. it is compared to 105…
5…. If its raining its fishing weather, if the sun is shinning its fishing weather.. If the water is choppy its fishing water you just need a bigger boat and a heavier rod..
6…. If they say hurricane.. You better stock up on beer, liquor, and beer and liquor.. Oh you might want to stock up on some water and batteries too..
7…. Dont ask for a pop here.. Pop is what you call your dad.. or grandfather.. if you want something fizzy to drink.. YOu better ask for a coke and then tell them what kind of coke you want…
8…. Any day is a good day for a cook out.. Even if its 20 degrees outside and the bbq pit is iced shut..
9….We dont get snow.. We get snow that falls but it melts before it hits the ground.. Yes this has happened several times..
10…. We don’t get snow days.. We do however get flood days..
11…. Mosquitos are year round here.. This means you can catch west nile year round.. Mosquitos may last year round but the stores do not stock plenty of mosquito spray year round!
12…. Our idea of back roads here.. Is much different than many peoples versions of back roads.. Our back roads here.. You might not make it out alive with out a gun and a flashlight..
13…. If the heat doesnt kill you.. the year round humidity will.. We dont just get cold here.. we get WET cold with 100% humidity..

I went to the dr today.. OH JOY OH JOY OH FREAKING FRAKING JOY! Needless to say.. While the dr was nice and all that.. It jsut wasnt a great appt.. Why you ask? Oh the reason is easy.. Because they cant tell me anything!!!!
1. I went in thinking I was being consumed by either a. Kidney stones or b. kidney infection.. .answer was.. C.. NEITHER!!! the pain.. unexplained! It COULD be gallbladder attacks.. What can they do? At this point nothing because I don’t have insurance and can’t afford the testing and all that. And at this point.. Gallbladder can act up again tom, a week from now, a month from now, years from now or never again! There is just no telling.. So no answers there.. But “It sounds strongly like gallbladder pains” What we do know.. is that its NOT a UTI, Kidney infection, or bladder infection..
2.. I had to go back on meds.. I was struggling seriously with out them. Its been years since ive been on meds.. I’ve managed to take things in stride.. And can’t anymore.. Things are too I dont know the answer for it here.. They just havent been going well and im tired of crying, my head hurts and I cant stop it and i can’t cope no matter how hard I try lately.. Better to take care of it now than later. They put me on effexor again to see if it helps.. She gave me samples for a month to see how it goes..
3. This is where I start talking about FEMALE STUFF! Men if they can’t handle it should not read any further.. YOu have been warned..
I’ve been bleeding for 3 months now.. Wyatt is 4 months old.. I stopped bleeding after him after a month.. stopped for less than 2 weeks and started up again and its been going on since.. cramps, and everything that goes with it off and on for a week or two each mo nth.. but I never stop bleeding in between “periods”.. Problem is.. They dont know why.. it could be:
a (and hte most likely answer). Thyriod.. She said if this is the case its easily treatable..
b. placenta parts still in there but said this isnt likely because i had a c section.
c. stress.. (another factor that sho uld be helped with meds)
OH! And to add to it.. My hair is falling out.. In hand fulls.. Im afraid im going to be bald.. My very very very thick hair is becomming thinner and thinner.. Im scared! Dr said all relates to the thyriod.. who knows anymore!
problem here is they want to run a bunch of tests.. Problem with that is that I dont have insurance. The tests they want to run the most is the thyriod and complete lab work up.. (cbc and all that fun stuff) problem with that.. the tests will cost 300$ total.. i dont have 300$.. The thyriod test alone is 60 and the dr wants it run by the tnext time i go back in.. Its hard to pull 60 out of your pocket when you dont have it and have 4 kids to take care of.. I’ll have to find it though.. Gotta have some answers.. Only way to get them is process of elimination.. FUN FUN!!!
